More to Love is operated by More to Dela & Biggz ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it — in plain English.

We are committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

More to Love is a private matchmaking community for divorced and separated adults. Our contact email is hello@moretodela.com.

2. What data we collect

When you sign up or use the app, we may collect:

• Your first name, email address and phone number
• Date of birth, height, location
• Gender, relationship history and status, children situation
• Faith, lifestyle preferences (smoking, drinking)
• Your story, goals, interests and dealbreakers
• Profile photos you upload
• Messages you send to other members
• Your payment plan and amount (we do not store card details — payments are handled by PayPal)
• How you heard about us
• Technical data: when you last used the app

3. Why we collect it

We use your data only to:

• Create and display your profile to other members
• Introduce you to compatible matches
• Communicate with you about your membership
• Improve the service and keep it safe

Our legal basis is consent (you agreed when signing up) and legitimate interests (operating a safe matchmaking service).

4. Who sees your data

• Other members — your profile, photos, story and interests are visible to other signed-up members
• More to Love team (Dela & Biggz) — we see all member profiles to facilitate introductions
• Supabase — our database and file storage provider (servers based in the EU)
• PayPal — processes payments; we do not see your card details
• Resend — used to send welcome and match notification emails

We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data — including photos, messages and profile information — is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — ask us to delete your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten"). You can also do this directly from the app in Settings → Delete my account
• Objection — object to us processing your data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

7. Cookies

We use minimal technical cookies only — specifically, a session token to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase's encrypted infrastructure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical steps to protect your information, but no system is completely secure — please use a strong password and keep your login details private.

9. Children

More to Love is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify active members by email if we make significant changes. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
